They live in small, isolated communities, maintaining a traditional way of life. Their traditional marriage practices are observed, with an emphasis on clan and family ties.

Population: Approximately 500–800 individuals.
Language: Arem (a Vietic language).
Religion: Predominantly animism and shamanism.
Christian Presence: Minimal; the Arem are considered an unreached people group.
Spiritual Beliefs
· Animism and Shamanism: The Arem believe in a world inhabited by spirits and practice rituals to appease these entities. Shamanistic practices are central to their spiritual life.
· Traditional Healing: They rely on shamans for medical and spiritual guidance, using herbal remedies and spiritual rituals.
Challenges to Evangelism
· Cultural Isolation: The Arem's remote location and traditional lifestyle make them difficult to access for missionaries and aid organizations.
· Linguistic Differences: The Arem language may not have extensive Christian literature or media resources, hindering effective communication of the Gospel.
· Spiritual Strongholds: Deep-rooted animistic beliefs and practices pose significant barriers to the acceptance of Christianity.
